UK qualification transfers
The Institute of Financial Planning is an affiliate member of the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB). It has exclusive rights to the licensed trade marks for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM certification in the UK.
Established in 2004, FPSB has twenty three international member organisations that seek to advance the profession of personal Financial Planning and work to promote the CFPCM certification marks as the globally recognised standard of excellence for Financial Planners.
Depending on where in the world you are relocating to, you may be able to transfer your UK CFPCM certification to that country. Each FPSB member has endorsed the CFPCM certification process as the best means of testing for, and demonstrating, Financial Planner competency and ethical behaviour.

CFPCM, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM and CFP logo are certification marks owned outside the U.S. by Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd. Institute of Financial Planning is the marks licensing authority for the CFP marks in the United Kingdom, through agreement with FPSB.
