Marlene, current President of the IFP is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM professional; Fellow of the Institute of Financial Planning (FIFP) and a Chartered Financial Planner.
She established her Financial Planning practice in 1991, aiming to provide both a personal and professional Financial Planning Service and in 2007 sold the business to Bluefin. She continues as a Financial Planner and Wealth Manager with Bluefin and as a mentor to other Planners.
Marlene only wants to work with those who are committed to achieving their lifetime goals and objectives. Marlene started her career as a Probation Officer and has 13 years experience in personal and counseling skills.
Marlene is passionate about Financial Planning and voices this regularly to the media and was awarded ‘Best Financial Planner’ in the New Breed Adviser awards 2009 and 'Retirement Planner of the Year’ in December 2008. In January 2009, with colleague Julie Lord, she also won the New Model Adviser award for Wales.
More recently Marlene has been awarded ISO 22222 the British Standard for Personal Financial Planning.
