Introduction to the branch

First and foremost I want to emphasise that I am here to represent you - the members.  Your ideas, thoughts, comments and even complaints are relevant and I need to hear them.

We have been fortunate in securing Brooks Macdonald Asset Management as our corporate sponsor for the whole year. With their generous support I have been able to focus the schedule of speakers on active practitioners and business development. The overriding aim is to impart knowledge and ideas, which will have a practical use, so that members can take something from each meeting to help them improve both their client service and personal and business skills. 

I want to encourage dialogue between our members to enable those with experience and qualifications in one particular area to impart that knowledge, so not only do we have “food for thought” from the guest speakers but also from each other.

If you already have or will complete level 4 in 2012, then take the next and most important career step yet, get your CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCM certification.

I am looking forward to my tenure as Chairman and to meeting you all in the coming months.

How to attend these meetings

Attendances at branch meetings are free to IFP members. Non-members and guests are welcome to attend, the first two meetings are free of charge, thereafter  non-members and guests will pay a charge of £10 per meeting.
