History

This History of the Institute of Financial Planning  section details the most important events that have helped shaped the IFP over the past 21 years, and, indeed, have contributed to the development of professional Financial Planning in the UK.  For a detailed summary of the events, simply select the year you are interested in from the column on the left.

Today the Institute of Financial Planning has over 2000 members of which over 822 are CFP professionals , and 77 have achieved Fellowship status.
