George Kinder workshop‘Seven Stages of Money Maturity’22 - 23 June 2009St. Ethelburga’s, 78 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AGINTRODUCTIONWithin the profession of Financial Planning and advising, a new approach has emerged from a core group founded in the USA by George Kinder and Richard Wagner. Shifting the emphasis of the planning relationship to assisting clients in formulating their "life of choice" first, advisers then establish the financial decisions that will support the unfolding life plan and its financial requirements. Perhaps the most exciting and intriguing way to experience the George Kinder approach to personal financial freedom is to take part in his two-day workshop. DETAILSPLEASE NOTE: The IFP is not running this year's workshop. The Kinder Institute is running the event and all bookings and enquiries should be directed to them. GEORGE KINDERRecognised in the USA as the father of the Life Planning movement, the Harvard educated Kinder is CEO and President of Kinder and Co., a Financial Planning and financial coaching company based in Littleton, MA, and the Founder of the Kinder Institute of Life Planning. He has been a practising Financial Planner and tax advisor for nearly thirty years. FEEDBACKFeedback from previous Kinder Workshops has been extremely positive. Below are just some of the comments that have been taken from participant feedback forms following the two day workshops held over the past few years. ‘Is life planning a gimmick or fad, or is it something much deeper and longer lasting? The core of the Seven Stages system is simply a very well presented values-based planning process. The point of life planning is to move away from transactional-based product sales towards a proper understanding of what our clients are trying to achieve.’ ‘Whether you want to completely change your business into a Life Planning Practice or merely implement some of the techniques into your existing business model to gain a deeper understanding of your clients, there are certainly a lot of great ideas in the Workshop. The shift to understanding client beliefs and values is so fundamental it can be successfully applied to almost any business model.’ ‘The Seven Stages course pulled together so many of the things I think are absolutely necessary to deepen relationships and design plans that really are tailored to the client as opposed to trying to fit clients into plans. I highly recommend this course if you are interested in helping people find lives worth living.’ ‘This is a very worthwhile course - a must for any Financial Planner who wants to do the best job for their clients.’ |
