TRAINING DAYS FOR CFPCM PROFESSIONALSCERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERCMcertification is much more than just a qualification - it brings a new dimension to the way you do business and for 2010, the IFP is offering two types of CFPCM professional days. New for 2010, the Masterclass for CFP Professionals provides a genuine professional pathway post CFP certification. Aimed at those who have more recently become CFP professionals or those who could use some expert help, the Masterclass will help you to integrate Financial Planning principles, processes and techniques into your business in a practical way. Experienced planners will share their best practice tips and tools to help you maintain your professional edge. The same programme will be delivered in each of the four venues. You will leave with practical and valuable new ideas to improve your clients' experience and business success. The IFP will continue to offer topical Focus Days for CFP Professionals (formerly CFP Licensees' Days). These are full day seminars, held in various locations throughout the year, which have varying topical focuses. The content of each programme assumes a high level of prior technical knowledge and a thorough understanding of the Financial Planning process. The days involve active participation, discussion and debate amongst peers. In the UK there are just 76 Fellows who have successfully achieved this significant status. Being part of the IFP's Fellowship allows these individuals to contribute further to the development of new planners through mentoring, other initiatives and contributions at conferences and meetings. This exclusive Fellows’ Day and Dinner is held each year. It is an opportunity for Fellows of the IFP to meet and share information at the highest level whilst discussing how best to apply new ideas. Fellows are regarded as leaders within the Financial Planning community, and Fellows' Days are a great way to focus on their very specialist technical and development needs at a level commensurate with their high level abilities and length of practical experience.
