Marlene has been a CFPCM professional and FIFP for many years and has served on the Board for the past 9 years. She is a passionate believer that Financial Planning should be recognised as a profession and that cash flow modelling should be the foundation for any form of advice and planning.

Neil Bailey FIFP, CFPCM
Responsible for education

Neil is a Director at Fortitude Financial Planning Ltd and has provided comprehensive Financial Planning to private clients since 1997. He joined the IFP in the same year and, has been actively involved in developing the CFPCM Certification training programme.

Phil Billingham CFPCM
Responsible for FSA Liaison

Having run his own IFA support consultancy for over 10 years, Phil now works as a Head of Business Consultancy with threesixty services LLP, in which role he provides Practice Management support to Financial Planning, Advisory and Wealth Management firms.In 2005, he was voted one of the UK’s Top 50 most influential IFAs.

Richard Antrum

Responsible for consumer engagement

Richard was appointed in 2011 to help satisfy the FSA requirements for accredited bodies and to help communicate the value of financial planning to consumers. Richard has held senior marketing roles in major consumer and retail companies developing brands and consumer propositions and his qualifications include the CIM Marketing Diploma, an MBA and a PhD in Leadership & Change.’

Jeremy Deedes FIFP, CFPCM
Responsible for membership services

Director of Yorkshire-based Planning for Life Ltd, Jeremy has been a member of the IFP since 1996. He was appointed to the Board in October 2006 helping to formulate IFP polices and activities for expanding the membership and profile of the IFP.

Alan Dick CFPCM
Director of consumer affairs

Alan Dick is the founding principal of Forty Two a fee based Wealth Management practice. A Financial Planner of almost 15 years experience, Alan is committed to raising the standards of Financial Planning. He is both a Chartered Financial Planner and CFPCM professional.

Barry Horner CFPCM
Responsible for audit

Barry Horner is the CEO of Paradigm Norton Financial Planning - having formed the firm in 2001 and together with the Paradigm team has built one of the foremost respected UK Financial Planning practices offering comprehensive Financial Planning advice to private clients and charities.

Rebecca Taylor FIFP, CFPCM
Responsible for members and branches

Becky is Managing Director of Dunham Financial Services an award-winning Financial Planning business based in Peterborough. Becky is CFPCM Professional, Chartered Financial Planner and also a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Planning a strong believer in Lifetime Financial Planning.

Responsible for educationBrian is Managing Director of Babecs Consultancy Ltd, and CEO of The Financial Planning Training Company Ltd. These organisations provide a range of specialist consulting and training services to entrepreneurs and business owners who wish to transform their business to a comprehensive/holistic Financial Planning model

 

Andrew Brook-Dobson CFPCM

Andrew Brook Dobson CFPCM currently chairman of the Leeds branch of IFP is also a member of the IFP Ethics Committee. Andrew is a director at Brook-Dobson Brear Ltd, an Accredited Financial Planning FirmTM based in Harrogate, who were runners up in the 2011 David Norton Building Excellence Award.

Simon Boulter CFPCM

Simon was formerly chairman of the IFP South West branch and is a member of the IFP Membership Committee. He is also a director at BoulterBowen Wealthcare, an Accredited Financial Planning FirmTM based in Exeter, who were the 2010 winners of the David Norton Building Excellence Award.

Janet Walford OBE

Janet started in personal finance in 1971. Worked for three linked life companies and national firm of IFAs before joining Money Management in 1978. Appointed editor in 1986, retiring from that post in 2012. Winner of 17 awards for journalism. Awarded OBE for services to financial journalism and the financial services industry in 2007.
