| Ideal clients |
Both corporate and private clients. I also am the approved independent financial adviser for three unions, together with a number of charities, trade bodies etc. The vast majority of my private clients are members of the public who have received monies from say a personal injury settlement or redundancy situation. Typically they require independent financial advice in relation to how to invest these monies. Prior to establishing my financial advisory business I was Head of Financial Services for a law firm. Therefore I also receive referrals from accountants and solicitors. Again this is maninly private clients seeking independent financial advice. |
|
| Typical clients and charges |
My initial consultation with clients (either face to face or over the telephone) is free and without obligation. Should independent financial advice be required e.g. report writing/arranging of investments etc, a fee to undertake this work is agreed with the client. This is payable at the conclusion of the process. If any commissions arise when placing investments these can be used to offset any agreed fee. |

| General background information |
The vast bulk of our clients are private clients i.e. members of the public, and are referred to us by unions, charities, trade bodies, existing clients etc. We also get referrals from a number of professional connections, typically accountants and solicitors. Our aim as a business is to offer the best quality of service at affordable cost. Our advice is tailored to the exact requirements of the client, and is not in a standardised format (as is often the case we find with the financial advice clients receive from banks and building societies etc). In addition, unlike many of the banks etc we are' independent' and not 'tied' As a business it is our intention to remain 'niche' and close to our clients, rather than grow too big and lose that personal touch. Most of our clients have been with us for many years and our client retention is excellent. |
